ARTIST STATEMENT : Savage Surrenders (2010-2011)

The bedsheet designs are an entry point for investigating the pattern, structure and impact of a specific line of romance novels that I read when I was very young (10 years old).

This is one way of transforming the books by using air - cutting spaces that interrupt and allow air and negative space to create a new form.
